on the fung-wah bus, hurtling through space.
on the fung-wah bus, hurtling through space.
Darkness shrouds all life. There is no road, no cars - even the passengers that have boarded the bus with me have been reduced to shadowy ghosts, rustling quietly, soaking in the abyss. There is an absence of light, an absence of noise - an absence of everything. In this moment, the only thing in the universe is me, the bus, and the dull lights from the cars zooming past, like effervescent fireflies.
I lose myself. I forget everything - where I came from, where I’m going, who I am - and simply sit in the suffocating darkness, listening to the bus hum softly to me.
I’m flying through space. I could be anywhere, and nowhere. There are no limitations or restrictions to where I’m going, no more borders, provinces, towns, cities, countries, continents. No set destination, no point of origin. The world truly seems infinite in this moment.
